The King of Easter Book Review

The King of Easter is the latest title in the FatCat series by Lexham Press. In this book, children learn about how Jesus came to seek and save the lost. In question and answer format, readers are introduced to people from the Bible whom Jesus saved. What I appreciate about the examples included is the reminder that Jesus saves all kinds of people. The examples include men and women, people who seemed morally upright, and people who didn’t.

The King of Easter is a great resource for helping children understand that Jesus saves anyone who turns from their sin and trusts in Him alone for salvation. And since Jesus even saved people like his enemy, Saul, He is able to even save people who perhaps aren’t as quick to see their need for a Savior. Like the other volumes in the FatCat series, this one has stunning, colorful illustrations that children are certain to enjoy.

The book concludes with resources in the back and one of my favorites is the two page spread with illustrations of the people who Jesus saved. Underneath each individual illustration is a Scripture reference so parents and young ones can look up those individual accounts in the Bible.

We love the FatCat series and The King of Easter is no exception!

I received The King of Easter compliments of Lexham Press in exchange for my honest review.
