The King of Christmas is the latest titles in the For All God’s Children series by Lexham Press. This story takes young readers through the the journey of the wise men as they search for Jesus who is referred to as the King of Christmas. Through beautifully vibrant illustrations, children will come to understand on a simple level the doctrine of the incarnation. The story primarily shows different settings and asks, “Is the King of Christmas there?”
This simple story teaches young readers that Jesus came in a manner that is the opposite of what is generally expected of a king. The book demonstrates how He humbled Himself by coming as a baby ultimately to one day die on behalf of those who would turn from their sin and place their hope for salvation in Him alone.
I’ve enjoyed reading this series of book with my kids and look forward to reading the forthcoming FatCat book, The King of Easter!
