The Revlon Eye Innovation VoxBox from Influenster came with two new eye makeup products from Revlon. The first product I received was the Colorstay Brow Fiber Filler in clear. I like the brush that comes with the product because of the shape it gave to my eyebrows. They really did appear fuller after using this product.
What I didn’t like, however, is that the product reminded of me of peeling glue as it left little flakes in my eyebrows. I tried it out a few times and received the same result each time. If there were a way for the product to stay in place without flaking, I would certainly consider making it a normal part of my beauty routine. I would even consider purchasing just the brush if that were an option.
The second product I received was the Revlon So Fierce! Eyeshadow Palette in 961 That’s A Dub. There are a few different palettes in this collection and I’m really grateful to have received this one because I love the colors and they are ones that I normally use. I like that each shade has a light shimmer and can be applied wet or dry.
I tested out each shade dry and they blended together beautifully and stayed in place. I have a similar eyeshadow palette from a competing brand but it uses actual glitter instead of mica and I certainly prefer the Revlon palette because it doesn’t leave me with flecks of glitter all over my face. I really love the natural colors of the That’s A Dub palette and plan to use it as a part of my regular beauty routine. I look forward to trying out the other palettes in the collection as well.
