The Christmas Surprise is the tenth book in the children’s book series Little Me, Big God by Steph Williams. My daughters received the first nine books in the series as a gift last Christmas so we were especially excited to add The Christmas Surprise to our collection.
This little book is an adaptation of the account of Jesus’s birth as recorded in the Bible. I love that all books in this series begin with the phrase, “A true story from the Bible” so that little ones will learn early on that the Bible is true. The book begins with a brief overview of the account from Genesis 3 in which sin entered the world. It tells children about God’s promise to send a Savior and how that promise was ultimately fulfilled when Jesus came to earth. Read my full review here.
