🍬 With Halloween just two days away, we’re packing our gospel goody bags to give out to trick or treaters! We started giving out king size candy bars a few years ago after being inspired by @jimmyneedham and @kellyneedham and the Redeem Halloween event they host at their house.

🙏🏻 We set up a table with cards for passerby to write down prayer requests and place them in a box so we can pray for them. We’re ready to pray with people on the spot, too.

🎶 I made a Spotify playlist with tracks from @streetlightsbible and Scripture songs by @cornerroommusic that we’ll play via Bluetooth speaker so people will hear truth in an edifying way as they walk by.

🤝 We love being out to chat with our neighbors and enjoy time together as a family and with friends.

We love how this night brings neighbors together, the lost to our home, and easily grants us the opportunity to show and share the love of Christ!

💕 Mom This is Just Between You & Me is a lovely resource written, designed, and illustrated by Christine Monroe or Passionland Books. I connected with Christine via Instagram which is how I first heard about this book. She offered to collaborate and send me a copy and I’m so glad she did!

My 8 year old daughter was excited when she saw the book and we can’t wait to do the journal activities together. There are 30 journal entries and space for both a mom and a daughter to write and draw together. I love that the questions will prompt deeper discussions and cover topics that I haven’t yet talked about with my daughter like technology use and personal growth.

Other topics I can’t wait to journal about with her are: Kindness, Book Club Day, Gratitude, Patience, Forgiveness, and World Cuisine Day. This book is great for completing with your own daughter and is also great for gifting! I’m excited for the sweet memories and discussions this book will prompt and look forward to checking out Christine’s other books!
