Logos 10 is the latest Bible software created by Faithlife to equip theologians of all learning stages with a deeper knowledge of the Bible. As much as I enjoy physical books, Logos 10 is a one-stop shop that makes it incredibly easy to access Bible study resources. When I study the Bible with Logos, I enjoy the ease of having multiple translations available and open as tabs at the same time. I can quickly click between translations and other helpful sources like commentaries to enhance my understanding of God’s word.
While Logos 10 contains an abundance of helpful resources, one that I’ve really enjoyed using is the Lexham Context Commentary: New Testament. This commentary helped me as I studied a passage in 2 Corinthians by giving me a broad overview of the passage and then a brief verse-by-verse summary. In addition to various kinds of study books, Logos 10 also includes helpful resources like art and maps that help Bible students have a fuller context of what life was like during the time the events of the Bible occurred. While studying 2 Corinthians, I was able to view Macedonia on a map to better understand where Paul was traveling.
I appreciate the search feature because rather than having to remember where I read something, I can type in a term and all the resources will quickly be searched for me. Logos 10 provides me with a list of all the resources that contain whatever term I search for which is incredibly helpful and time-saving. Logos contains a Layouts feature that allows me to decide how I want all my open resources to display; I love that it gives me multiple options.
Logos 10 can be downloaded to a computer but is also available in web format and on the Logos app making it easy to bring your study resources with you wherever you go! Overall, I love Logos 10 and am excited to grow in my understanding of the Bible as I use it!
I received Logos 10 Gold Standard compliments of Faithlilfe in exchange for my honest review.
