One tool my family has been enjoying lately is the Graticube by GoodKind. You might recognize the name GoodKind as they are the company that makes the Advent tool, Advent Blocks. As a member of the GoodKind influencer program, I was excited to learn about the Graticube and receive the opportunity to try it. The product is a wooden die with 12 sides. Each sides contains an image and a brief prompt that families can use to encourage giving thanks to God. I love that there are images on it in addition to the text because this ensures that children who aren’t reading yet will be able to use it.
Using the Graticube is simple and we tend to keep ours at the dinner table so we can use it while we are seated together as a family. The pictures include fun things like a flower and a slice of pizza. I love the Graticube because it is a simple tool that helps train my children’s hearts toward gratitude. I’ve observed that my children have no trouble telling me what they’re dissatisfied with and disappointed about but recalling what they’re thankful for doesn’t seem to be a natural inclination.
My kids really enjoy using the Graticube and I’m grateful that it gives me and my husband a way to lead by example as we engage with it too. This tool is something we will be using regularly and we can’t wait to see what GoodKind comes up with next! If you are hoping to cultivate gratitude in your kids, I highly recommend the Graticube!
I received my Graticube compliments of GoodKind in exchange for my participation in their influencer program.
