God’s Big Promises Bible Story Prayers is a lovely book that helps little ones develop the discipline of prayer early on. The book contains 101 prayers for children to pray and each includes a brief commentary, a verse or two, and a prayer. The book is divided into prayers based on Old Testament and New Testament accounts and includes four different types of prayers: Praise prayers, thank you prayers, sorry prayers, and please prayers.
I appreciate this aspect of the book because it helps children understand that they can talk to God about anything. It also helps readers learn that talking to God is not less than making requests but is so much more! God’s Big Promises Bible Story Prayers is a lovely complement to the God’s Big Promises Bible Storybook and together, these books would be great as gifts!
