When I saw Harvest House announce via Instagram that they were taking sign-ups for the launch team of their book Bible Infographics for Kids, I jumped at the opportunity to participate. Since I have a two-year-old and a baby on the way, I get very excited when I learn about books that are designed to help children understand and love God’s word.
Once I received an email stating that I had been selected to be on the launch team I couldn’t wait to receive my book – I’m a sucker for great graphics and solid theology. My excitement grew upon receiving my copy of the book simply by reading the premise on the back cover which states, “The Bible is far from boring.” I wanted to shout a hearty, “Yes!” in agreement.
One of the first things I really came to appreciate about this book is that while the target audience is children, it’s not exclusively for children. I love that Bible Infographics for Kids provides information from both the Old and New Testaments it helps provide a broad overview of the Bible as a whole.
Although I’m not a kid, I thoroughly enjoyed reading each section of the book and learned many new things I hadn’t previously known. One such tidbit can be found on page 33 in the section about Jesus’s Family Tree. It states, “Jesus’s
Overall, I really enjoyed Bible Infographics for Kids and believe you will too! Along with the serious facts, there were some silly ones that were still just as interesting to learn about.
