Our little family took a trip to California in mid October. We hadn’t originally planned on the trip but when I found out I was able to fly all of us for under $200 total, roundtrip, we knew we had to take advantage of the opportunity. I happened to look on the Alaska Airlines website one day and they were having a sale on flights from Austin to San Diego. Additionally, I $75 off vouchers for Derek, Addie, and myself from a bad flight we experienced last Thanksgiving. Since I am an Alaska Airlines credit card holder, I was able to fly myself roundtrip for free! We couldn’t believe we were receiving such an incredible deal. Our last trip to California ended with Addie getting the stomach flu while I was in my third trimester of pregnancy with Ava.
While we enjoy visiting California, we weren’t ready to return any time soon. However, we are so grateful we got to take our recent trip. The weather is lovely this time of year and we enjoyed how it consistently cools down at night. It was great to spend time with family we don’t get to see very often and to visit the beach and Disneyland. Here are a few photo highlights from our California trip.
