The Daily Question for You and Your Child Book Review

The Daily Question for You and Your Child is the follow-up release to Waterbrook & Multnomah’s earlier book The Daily Question. Although one of my daughters is two and the other one is still growing in my belly, I look forward to going through this book with each of them when they are at the appropriate age. The cover of The Daily Question for You and Your Child states that it is, “A 3 Year Spiritual Journey.” I read through many of the questions on my own to discover whether or not the book is faithful to this premise and I’m thankful to report that it is. Although not every question is spiritual in nature, I believe that it is by asking many of these questions that we, as parents, will have inside look at how our children are doing spiritually. Questions range from, “What is your favorite song?” (question for July 15th) to “What is hard right now? How can I help you with it?” (question for September 29th) and “What are your three favorite things about God?” (question for October 15th).

The book is indeed a 3 year journey as the entry page for each question/date has three separate spaces to write in. I’m anticipating going through these questions/conversations with my daughters and looking back at their responses from previous years. One fun aspect of this book is that the cover insert can be removed and replaced with a photo of your child.

The intro to The Daily Question for You and Your Child includes the sentiment, “With the frenetic speed of modern life, it’s important to take some intentional time to bond and make lifelong memories.” I couldn’t agree more and look forward to doing just that in the years to come.

The Daily Question for You and Your Child is available now at all major booksellers.

I received The Daily Question for You and Your Child compliments of Waterbrook & Multnomah in exchange for my honest review.
