Psalms of Praise: A Movement Primer is the second book in the Baby Believer series by Danielle Hitchen and Jessica Blanchard. This little book features beautiful illustrations that are sure to capture the attention of young readers and draw them in. Each page has a verse from the book of Psalms and illustrates actions for children to take as they memorize the verse. One example is Psalm 47:1 which states, “Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!” The illustration for this verse shows a child clapping. My daughter is only two but I am excited to begin teaching her these short verses that contain deep truths about God’s character.
My daughter loves the first book in the Baby Believer series First Bible Basics: A Counting Primer (you can read my review of it here), and I can’t wait to surprise her with Psalms of Praise in her Easter basket. I love that the purpose of the Baby Believer books is to help little ones hide the Word in their hearts. I’m thankful for this wonderful resource because I know it will help me memorize Scripture too!
Psalms of Praise receives my highest recommendation and is available now at all major booksellers.
I received Psalms of Praise compliments of Harvest House in exchange for my honest review.
