A Basket of Summer Fruit is one of the devotionals written by Susannah Spurgeon, author and wife of the late preacher, Charles Spurgeon. This particular edition of the devotional begins with a few pages offering a brief bio of Susannah’s life. The devotional content itself is short but incredibly rich. Reading Susannah’s thoughts about the Lord and observations from Scripture was so sweet to me. It made me want to be like Susannah in my devotion to the Lord and ultimately, like Jesus.
