I’ve tried many grocery delivery services and while each has its own benefits, I’ve found that Instacart is my favorite. Check out four reasons why it should be your favorite too!
It’s Convenient
This is my primary motivation for using Instacart. Although the groceries come with an additional cost and there are charges like the delivery fee and tip, it is worth it to me. Using Instacart means I can add things to my cart as I think about them. I am less likely to forget items because adding them to the cart is quick and simple. Instacart delivery also means that I won’t have to load my two kids in the car and hope they behave for the drive to the store and back and while I’m shopping.
You Get the Best Products
Between trying to check items off my shopping list and keeping my children content in the shopping cart, I’m usually a distracted shopper. I realized this more fully upon my return home after a recent shopping trip. A bag of oranges that looked great after a quick glance in the store actually contained lots of mold. I was frustrated when I realized that the cost of the oranges was about the same as the Instacart delivery fee. After this incident, I placed an Instacart order and was very impressed with the produce my shopper picked out.
Easy Hospitality
One of my favorite things about Instacart that is often overlooked is that it can be used to serve others! If you have friends or family you aren’t able to get to due to time or geographical barriers, Instacart can bring them items on your behalf. Whether you are sending groceries or goodies, Instacart makes it easy for you to care for others.
Excellent Customer Service
One aspect of Instacart that I really appreciate is the attention to customer service that I’ve received with every order. I’ve had a shopper reach out to me when the store didn’t have the quantity of an item I was purchasing. This was helpful to know because it allowed me to alter preparations for a meal I had planned to make. I’ve also had a shopper bring my groceries in as few bags as possible because the store charged per bag and the shopper was preventing me from paying additional fees. Although that action didn’t save me a huge amount of money in the long run, I felt that the shopper really went above and beyond in fulfilling my grocery order.
